Senior points and miles writer Katie Genter started writing for TPG in November 2015 while working on a Ph.D. in computer science at The University of Texas at Austin. After completing her thesis in June 2017, she and her husband began traveling full time, living out of hotels while working remotely as digital nomads.
Katie joined the TPG staff as a senior credit cards writer in June 2019 but now focuses on a variety of topics, including helping readers understand and maximize points and miles, loyalty programs and elite status.
