Senior credit cards editor Matt Moffitt is passionate about sharing his knowledge of how to earn the maximum number of points through credit cards, and use those points for high-value redemptions. He has at least 25 cards in his wallet at any given time, and has more than eight years of experience in the points, miles and credit cards industries.
Originally from Sydney, Matt won the green card lottery and has been based in Austin since 2015. Prior to joining TPG in 2022, he worked for four years as the managing editor of Australian frequent flyer website Point Hacks and as a content curator for Pinterest. He has spoken at travel and credit card conferences, appeared on travel podcasts and been quoted in national and international media outlets.
Matt is proficient in Spanish, has lived in Mexico and Spain, and is continuing his quest to try all of the world's top first-class products. His favorites so far? Emirates and Etihad, both on the Airbus A380.
